ROUND 1

1. Cleveland Browns | DE Myles Garrett | Texas A&M

Quick Take: The Cleveland Browns take the best player in this draft class hoping to turn around the team's fate for the 2017 season. It is going to be a long road for the Browns, but Garrett could easily become the foundation for something great. Garrett is bringing a powerful edge to a much needed defense and he will be hunting Joe Flacco, Ben Roethlisberger and Andy Dalton in the AFC North.

2. Chicago Bears (from San Francisco 49'ers) | QB Mitchell Trubisky | North Carolina

Quick take: The Bears shocked the draft as they traded up to take Trubisky giving away two picks this year and a third-rounder for the 2018 draft. Some analysts did not think that this year QB class was rich enough to take one in the top 5, however it seems that the Bears were comfortable with what they saw in Trubisky who now will be learning from Mike Glennon and could see some game time this season.

3. San Francisco 49'ers (from Chicago Bears) | DE Solomon Thomas | Stanford

Quick take: The Niners focused their re-building plan on the defensive side of the ball taking the explosive Solomon Thomas. A good pick for a team that could not stop the run in 2017 and had limited success in rushing the opponent passer. It is a good start for this team that is looking to turn around the 2-win season from 2016.

4. Jacksonville Jaguars | RB Leonard Fournette | LSU

Quick Take: The Jaguars stole a strong running back despite the question marks at the QB position and at the offensive line unit. However, Fournette is a hard-hitting power back that loves to burst crossing the line and face the linebackers with stamina. In his own words, he is a game-changing player. The Jaguars could make a good use of a player with that kind of skill set.

5. Tennessee Titans | WR Corey Davis | Western Michigan

Quick Take: The Titans were in the market for a WR and they got what they wanted in Davis. He is a speedy reciever that works well in intermediate or deep routes and can confuse defensive backs with his route-running. He also is a QB friendly type of player when he comes back to track down hard balls. Davis is a leaper when it comes to fight for high tosses and will make a good combo with Marcus Mariota in the end-zone.

6. New York Jets | S Jamal Adams | LSU

Quick Take: Displaying probably one of the worst rosters in the league, the New York Jets got into the draft needing to fill more than one position. Their defense got stronger when they took Adams, grabbing one of the best young leaders coming out of college. He is a physical and very intelligent player that does not hesitate to punish the opponents. He has the capacity to be one of the foundation pillars of a fresh New York defense.

7. Los Angeles Chargers | WR Mike Williams | Clemson

Quick Take: Philip Rivers needs more weapons on the aerial attack. That became evident when last season the Chargers got devastated with injuries, specially in the WR''s corps. That issue got tackled when they selected Mike Williams, a vertical threat that escapes and makes defensive backs miss when covering him. In addition, he is a great back-shoulder catcher. However, one of his main issues is his tendency to drop balls, a problem that needs to be fixed in his new home in LA.

8. Carolina Panthers | RB Christian McCaffrey | Stanford

Quick take: The Panthers selected one of the top RB's in this year crop. McCaffrey elevated his stock after a strong workout and now stands as a top 10 pick. The buzz around the fast RB compared him with Ezekiel Elliott from the previous draft. Now, the Panthers fancy themselves an intriguing backfield as McCaffrey joins power-back Jonathan Stewart and got paired with spectacular Cam Newton.

9. Cincinnati Bengals | WR John Ross | Washington

Quick Take: The Bengals took the fastest player at the combine, the man who broke long-tenured Chris Johnson's record. Cincinnati is looking to pair him up as a vertical threat next to star receiver A.J. Green. His biggest problem according to some analysts is that he is undersized  and lacks technique in his route-running. However, those are some things that can be fixed in a friendly-pass offense as the one commanded by Marvin Lewis with Andy Dalton under center.

10. Kansas City Chiefs (from Buffalo Bills) | QB Patrick Mahomes II | Texas Tech University

Quick Take: The second trade of the day was intended to select the second quarterback off the board. The Chiefs paid a lot to get what they think is their man of the future. Kansas City gave up a third-rounder and their first pick of the 2018 draft to grab Patrick Mahomes. He is a cannon-armed quarterback that possesses raw talent. He will have the opportunity to seat out one or two seasons and learn from coach Andy Reid and QB Alex Smith before he is ready to play under center in Kansas City.

11. New Orleans Saints | CB Marshon Lattimore | Ohio State

Quick Take: Some had Lattimore as the best defensive back in this year draft. He truly is a very athletic player that has all the tools to turn into one of the top covering man in the NFL. The Saints needed to improve as soon as possible their awful defense and Marshon Lattimore comes as an upgrade right away.

12. Houston Texas (from Cleveland Browns) | QB DeShaun Watson | Clemson

Quick Take: Another shocking trade had the Texans moving up to take probably the best QB prospect in this year crop. Houston gave up their first round pick from 2018 to steal an exciting player that is going to be starting for the team, pairing him with an electrifying WR corps leaded by DeAndre Hopkins and Will Fuller. It looks promising for a sub par team that failed to match their playoff expectations with Brock Osweiler under center.

13. Arizona Cardinals | LB Haason Reddick | Temple

Quick Take: The Cardinals address the defensive side of the ball taking a formidable prospect in Reddick. He is a fast and versatile linebacker that will provide explosiveness and great anticipation to the plays. He resembles Pittsburgh's Ryan Shazier in size and speed, and it is a good addition to a young unit.

14. Philadelphia Eagles | DE Derek Barnett | Tennessee

Quick Take: The Eagles selected a fascinating defensive prospect from Tennesse who owns the school's record in sacks. He took away that record from all-time great Reggie White, so that speaks a lot of his preparation and passion for the game. Barnett was one of the most productive pass rushers in his college career, so the Eagles got themselves deep in the defensive squad.

15. Indianapolis Colts | DB Malik Hooker | Oklahoma State University

Quick Take: The Colts secondary got immediately improved with this selection. Hooker is a great ball tracker with remarkable anticipation. He has some issues with his tackling abilities, but it is compensated with his center field aptitudes. Hooker is an instinctive player and has a challenging tendency into deep balls. Indianapolis will welcome Hooker with arms wide open expecting to get better in the turnover differential.

16. Baltimore Ravens | CB Marlon Humphrey | Alabama

Quick Take: The Ravens defense is always defined by their secondary play-makers. It was no surprise that Baltimore trusted their first pick to a young man as Humphrey. Coming out of an extremely disciplined team as the Crimson Red Tide, the work of Humphrey will impact Baltimore defense although he has to improve in his coverage skills if he wants to become a lock-down cornerback.

CB Marlon Humphrey | 247 Sports

17. Washington Redskins | DE Jonathan Allen | Alabama

Quick Take: The Redskins enhanced their pass rush with the pick of Allen. He has the capacity to read and stop the run, but also to get his hands quickly into the opposing quarterbacks faces. He had a very productive career in his college years and has the potential of becoming an all-pro in the league.

DE Jonathan Allen | 247 Sports

18. Tennessee Titans | CB Adoree' Jackson | USC

Quick Take: The Titans select an electrifying defensive back that has a lot of speed and loves to trace the ball down the field. He will join defensive coordinator Dick LeBeau in Tennesse and surely he will elevate this young man play to new heights as a professional player.

CB Adoree' Jackson | 247 Sports

19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers | TE O.J. Howard | Alabama

Quick Take: Things got real in the Tampa Bay offensive squad. They snatched a high-reliable pass catcher with a tough frame but without sacrificing speed at all. He is a pro-ready tight end that will join Mike Evans and DeSean Jackson catching passes from Jameis Winston. It is a high ceiling for this offense that is looking forward to explode the next season.

TE O.J. Howard | Sporting News

20. Denver Broncos | T Garett Bolles | Utah

Quick Take:  The Broncos addressed the offensive line as a priority in this draft. Denver nagged one of the best prospects at tackle who is very passionate about the game and surely will upgrade the lack of protection that the Broncos suffered last season. Whoever is under center (Trevor Siemian or Paxton Lynch) will benefit of the edge that Boles offer in the pass protection.

T Garrett Bolles | 247 Sports

21. Detroit Lions | LB Jarrad Davis | Florida

Quick Take:

22. Miami Dolphins | DE Charles Harris | Missouri

Quick Take: With an impressive pass rush, the Dolphins took care of business filling the DE position with the selection of Harris. He has a great explosiveness and crazy spin-moves that terrifies tackles and quarterbacks as well. He has a quick-step and well-refined technique, so the Dolphins got deeper in the defensive side of the ball.

DE Charles Harris | Sports Illustrated

23. New York Giants | TE Evan Engram | Ole Miss

Quick Take: Engram stands as one of the best athletes in his position. He resembles more a wide receiver than a tight end but with effective blocking abilities. One of his closest comparisons is Jordan Reed of the Redskins, and now the Giants have a player that can match that divisional nightmare. Eli Manning is going to be very happy with this selection and he now has more weapons to pair with Odell Beckham Jr.

TE Evan Engram | CBS Sports

24. Oakland Raiders | CB Gareon Conley | Oklahoma State University

Quick Take: After his draft stock plummeted because of a rape accusation, the Raiders were comfortable with the reports that they received involving the incident. Now, Oakland will feature one of the best prospects in the secondary that strongly resembles the hard play of Aqib Talib. He can play press-coverage and has a fine zone instinct. If he can escape from the buzz around the rape accusation, he can become a fine player for the Raiders.

CB Gareon Conley | 247 Sports

25. Cleveland Browns | S Jabrill Peppers | Michigan

Quick Take: The Browns are taking care of the defense as the foundation of the new era of the team as they are showing with this kind of picks. Cleveland just got a ball-hawking and hard-hitting player that is so versatile that can play from the line or play deep as a strong safety. Peppers displays an amazing burst of speed and awareness that can prevent deep passes or harass the QB with his blitzing aptitudes.

26. Atlanta Falcons (from Seattle Seahawks) | DE Takkarist McKinley | UCLA

Quick take:

27. Buffalo Bills | CB Tre'Davious White | LSU

Quick Take: The third player selected from LSU in the first round of this draft  is going to play for the Buffalo Bills in 2017. He is a versatile defensive back that can play in a wide range of formations. He has a great arm-length and a vision that excels. In addition, his speed is remarkable and the Bills are getting better in the secondary with the acquisition of Micah Hyde and now the

Quick Take:

29. Cleveland Browns (from Green Bay Packers) | TE David Njoku | Miami
